just me and some bloke i've not played yet on the PS3 FIFA league :sadface:

i'm getting better at this game .. i'm still absolute crap at finishing but i can defend and make chances quite well now. i've figured out an easier way to score .. crosses/headers is one way, it's frustrating defending crosses, defenders seem oblivious to the likes of drogba who always seem to get accurate headers! another better way is the chip thru-ball. i think it's a bit of a glitch to be honest, cause it's far too easy to get one-on-ones with the keeper this way. defenders seem to stall for a second or 2, giving the centre forwards enough time to sprint past them and get a shot in. sprinting past players when the ball is played along the ground is really hard, even with fast strikers. poorly rated defenders always seem to be hot on their heels. i don't think EA have got the balance quite right in this respect -- what do you guys reckon?

Buy a 360... cheaper and a better console for games.

Playing Dead Rising 2 at the moment. Can't get enough of combining nails and MMA gloves for zombie skewering. Silly, silly fun.

Have you made a lightsabre yet? You can kill swarms of them with one swipe. So many fun weapons to make on that game! Also, combine the battery with the wheelchair and then the assault rifle. Carnage.

Lpg, I'm only back for a couple of weeks, crashing on peoples floors, and I lent my ps3 to a friend so even if the flesh was willing nothing to play the league on.

I lend you my xbox with Castlevania, Resi 5, and couple of X clusives (Halo? gears? bayonetta?) for 1 month in return for the loan of your ps3 with some games(uncharted, demon souls perhaps)

Yeah Castlevania has just come out. £35 from Amazon, £25 second-hand for me :D. Someone sold one for £20 on eBay.

Haven't done either of those weapons yet. Have loads of combos I haven't even made yet. I have the combo card for the lightsabre so should run over to the jewelry shop and make that up. I also need to combine the lizard head and fountain firework to see what that does.

I made up the IED with the propane tank and nails, while effective at clearing a path, I expected it to go boom. I think I'll try sticking it on a zombie head and then taking a pot shot at it with a gun and see if that does the trick.

Because Ed pointed out that L4D2 was out for Mac on Steam, I stayed up late playing that for a different kind of zombie massacre.

Just trying to save a few pounds here and there so I can buy more beers when I go to the pub. 10 x 4 = £40, 15 x 4 = £60. All adds up.
