Got Titanfall on black friday fo £7.50

First game I bought 4 PC in about 10 years.

Tbh not really any diffetent to Quake/Unreal/COD etc in terms of engine.

Fun 4 5 mins I suppose.

Today I discovered that my Steam account is 10 years old. Unfortunately they only started tracking playing hours in 2009 so I have 5 solid years of Counter Strike that isn't counted.

I keep meaning to give cs:go a look, but I'm also terrified of reawakening the beast.

Despite being well aware of its issues, Alien Isolation for sixteen quid in the Steam sale was too hard to resist.

Scared much? Yes, very. Not even any sign of xenomorphs yet.

Got it running across three 27" monitors at 5760x1080. PCs are amazing. Apparently it also works with the Occulus Rift but I'm glad I don't have one yet cos my underwear probably wouldn't cope.

Did I mention PCs are amazing? It also completely hangs when trying to save a game which is a bit of a pain in the tits when saves are neither automatic or frequent. At least I can rename the intro videos so restarting is much quicker.

Google said to update video drivers and run AI.exe as administrator. Save no longer crashes, PCs are amazing again.

Still no sign of an Alien but I have almost soiled myself several times.

Haven't had any issues running it myself, but it is trouser-soilingly awesome.

I just started playing alien isolation last night on the xb1. spent about an hour creeping around before i even got to a cutscene with an alien in it. i probably extended what would be about 10 minutes of gameplay if i was just running around. my nerves were fried by the time i found a good point to stop and go to bed.

the whole items you pick up glow and the put a little tiny light on everything else is wearing thin already as it seems like crafting items is going to be a big requirement later on and you'll need the stuffs.

also played the first 20 minutes of tales from the borderlands ep 1.

pretty good story and characters but it's just been one giant cutscene with quicktime events and i'm not sure if i'm still in the intro or this is the game... was only £3 so can't really grumble though.

Dark Souls 2 on sale for £15 at the moment, and the DLC season pass also for £15 although I'm going to leave that be for the time being, also, MGS HD edition (2,3,4) on sale for £10 on PSN :)

Got an old 4th screen for brazzers but haven't worked out where to put it yet.

Having said that, if I was better at knowing where to put things I'd probably spend less time playing video games.

@Brun get some of these and put the monitors on a higher shelf/tier of desk and you won't have to have you can have your mouse and keyboard level.

I'm on 3x 21.5inch monitors with an i5 2500k and ati 7950. Would upgrade but games atm are buggy and shit, everything for years will be playable as consoles hold us back.
