I recently traded my old phone and ps3 in at game, they price matched CEX. Got a ps4, Destiny, watchdogs and 12 months ps plus.
Got 220 trade in and paid 180 cash.

Anyone got into Elite: Dangerous yet? Paid for the game when it was on Kickstarter but haven't gone for the Alpha or Beta releases yet (too many other games to play...)

A mate bought into the Alpha release and can't stop raving about it. It does mean I'll have to buy a joystick again, I think my last one was when I owned an Atari ST.

I've been playing a lot of Elite recently. The beta until now has been fairly limited in scope so it did lose some appeal after a while. Has huge potential though.

Beta 2 is due tomorrow which makes the explorable area ten times bigger than it currently is and adds a whole load of new features. Looking forward to it.

So with Dragon Age coming out soon, I figured I'd best actually finish the first 2.
Installed DA:Origins and DA2... now looking at mods to update it.

So... Bloodborne. I'm playing the alpha (no NDA), and it's awesome.
That said, I think I might actually NOT buy it. I'm just not patient enough to keep dieing again and again. Glad I never bought Demon/Dark Souls. Will see how I progress over the next few times it's open to play.

I'm on the fence with this. Both eurogamer and C&VG gave it a decent review but both criticised it as being too long, amazingly. I was kinda tempted at that point but gamespot were much more critical, suggesting it was 4 hours worth of decent ideas dragged out over 14.

I'm being kept busy enough with Elite: Dangerous, Assetto Corsa and occasional BF4.

If you have an Xbone, it's a must buy.

You really should play Black Mesa, a wonderful flashback to Half Life but in glorious detail.

Seriously looking forward to Alien Isolation, IGN gave it 6/10 which gives me a lot of confidence in how good it is!

Alien games are always disappointing. Dark Space is the best of those kind of games.

Don't get your hopes up. Alien games have never lived up to expectations. Very few FPS games have come anywhere near the quality of HL and HL2

Another bad review of Alien Isolation

It's not looking good is it?

Has there been another Alien game in this genre? Haven't they all previously been in the action/shoot-em-up style of James Cameron's Aliens as opposed to the original horror style of the first film?

There was a game of the original movie for the ZX Spectrum in 1982...

While there are a few things I've seen that I'd rather weren't in the game, I'm overall still very optimistic. Still, I guess we'll have to wait until Tuesday to find out for sure!
