Pro Evo here.

Was playing both the demos today, and pro evo was far, far better.

Have to disagree with you here. I downloaded the PES11 demo last week and was left a bit unimpressed. Ball physics are fucked, the ball just does not roll. It's like playing in really thick grass. Ref's a bit too whistle-happy for my liking too, light contact using X + square all too often resulted in a foul. Players don't seem to tussle for the ball in mid-air. Sprinting feels awkward, tapping R1 doesn't make them any quicker either. It's not as easy to sprint past players on a through ball, or down the wing.. The whole thing just feels a bit sluggish. Granted, it's probably cos i'm used to the button config of Fifa but PES really doesn't seem as fluid. Graphics are fantastic, though - faces are photorealistic.

I used to love playing PES on the PS2, but I think FIFA has the edge now.

fourteen, don't know if your ps3ing or xboxing, but think we can get enough people to purchase pro evo/fifa 11 to sort out a league

Haven't looked into what FIFA's doing with online leagues, but this is built into Pro Evo 11. So my shout would be pro evo, and i'm not bothered which console.

Why a loser?
You're a gamer and have consoles to play exclusive games on. I would like a PS3 to go with my 360, gamecube, psp, DS, gameboy, GBA, ps2, atari sports pong machine and my gundam console

just like having a few bikes (got 6) each able to to something slightly different
(the N+1 principle isn't a strong for consoles as it is for bikes though)

I moved away from PES a good few years ago so FIFA all the way for me. Great idea!

A thing to consider is that the FIFA online play is recognised as being far superior to the Pro Evo. Surely for an online league this is pretty important?

I'm not up for a Pro Evo v's FIFA debate.

've played both for years, and as far as I'm concerned the latest pro evo has really thrown the gauntlet down.

I'll be keeping my £40 for that in November, but if everyone jumps on FIFA then I might be swayed by picking up a 2nd hand copy an joining in.

Left 4 dead 2 took up too much time this weekend so I didn't get a chance to play the Fifa '11 demo. Will try it out asap though.

Left 4 Dead was stupidly fun to play, it made me want to watch Night of the Living Dead again, and that made me want to play L4D again...

On the other hand, I've been Playing starcraft II, it's fucking fun to play, sure the cutscenes look dopey and the dialogue resemblance an 90's action film starred by puns and lack of English, but still great to play.

Oh yes, my username in Starcraft is in homage to the forum; Squabble.

Just wrote a massive love letter here to Fallout 3 and that fact that I've been replaying the DLC this weekend in preparation to New Vegas AND THE WEBSITE CRASHED ON ME WHEN I CLICKED POST!!!

halo 4 is pretty fun and seems to have gone back to its origins with its simplicity and distinctive levels. Will report fully on completion
