Logged into Kali server for a quick run with Spotter. Ran up the second floor of a building to find two people there with their backs to me. I said 'friendly' and they turned to say that they were of an equally friendly disposition before one of them handcuffed me and shot me in the head.
If anyone sees Daniel007 and GeeBee007, feel free to shoot them on my behalf.

Thats it, I'm done with Day Z, its actually shit and a waste of time.
No skill with combat, sometimes its so glitchy you can hack at a zombie with an axe and then suddenly die and then sometimes you can punch them out in 3 hits.
Other players are pricks, met a couple of ok ones but just got shot without even seeing the person, despite hearing them and calling out "hello" repeatedly. No skill in that.
Maybe its ok if you are a great big virgin with no other hobbies who can play it 24 hours a day but I don't have time for this shit...
Time to stop buying into the hype...

Sad to read. I hear much negative criticism about the game. It's probably going to take ages to become a proper game as there is no real base engine. Hope it'll get good one day though.
Myself I haven't slept all night. Missed the football, been playing my Mass Effect 2 save and just finished it. Not tired anymore so considering starting the third part...

Bugger. Yeah you can refill bottles and drink from ponds but at some point they are going to make it so you have to purify the water to avoid getting sick.
Avoid those little military lookout towers, I went up one, tried to take my binoculars out and proceeded to fall to my death. Spent 20 minutes running back to the body only to find it un-lootable. Feck. -
I found pond at one point, desperately tried to refill my canteen and it wouldnt let me, i ended up swimming in an attempt to do it and it wouldn't still let me drink, CYOA later told me that its a glitch and you need to log out and back in again.
In other news I found out that BF4: Hardline wasn't a DLC, this pretty much sums up why I wont be buying BF4 despite having owned every single game and expansion in the franchise:

Oh fuck, now I am getting tempted again.... maybe it was late night drunk impatience that killed Day Z for me... it's defo not a game you can pick up for an hour or so though...

machine had a good couple of nights working out in Madrid, food was amazing, find the bodega de la ardosa, for some great beer and jamon, its in and around tribunal, lovely narrow maze of streets and bars down those sides.
