I think I'll buy my true size as I'm on the upper limit of it anyway. no skating it's for polo.

nice lids, I nearly bought one for bmx but ended up with a much cheaper TSG which was (and still is) too small

i have 2 of the ace. this helmet has the lowest profile out of all of them. they're cheap, come in loads of colours and you dont look too much of dick, or like you're just about to be fired out of a cannon. the ace sizing is absolutely spot on as listed. same for the B2 but the classic comes up small. i ordered all of mine online...rollersnakes had the best price and selection i think and sent back what didn't fit/didn't like. the ace is spot on and does have extra vents on the bike version.

I have a protect B2 larger which fits me better than my TSG small/medium. The latter is actually too big.

i think mine is true size. Xl - Big head.

Yeh I have one of the soft shell ones in matte Gold.
Really comfortable and lightweight. I wear it whenever I cycle into London centre or any other longer journeys/busy roads.
I got it wicked cheap too at a trade show ;-)

I have a colleague over for a couple of days who wants to buy a Giro TT Helmet, as they don't sell them where he's from. Anyone got any ideas which shops stock em?
Cheers!

Thanks!

Condor has some TT helmets not sure if they have the Giro one though. Would never go back to a Tri and Run shop they are very uninspiring.

Does anyone here have any experiense of that helmet?
Can find much info or reviews on them.Need a "deeper" helmet and from what I could read about this one it can be adjusted in height also.
Tips on helmets that don´t sit like a mushroom on your head would be nice, if you got any.
Cheers!

This is a fantastic helmet and a real, genuine contender vs the Ionos/Atmos/Specialized 2-D/etc.
I had real trouble finding a helmet that fitted my head - when pulled even vaguely tight ,most of them "pinched" at the front and back of my head while remaining loose at the sides - until I tried this one!
As well as a different shape to the helmet, the K10 has a very different fixing mechanism that is hinged and will sit much lower at the back (more like the feeling of an MTB helmet) while retaining the wheel/dial mechanism of most road helmets which allows a lot of customisation of the fit for different head shapes
Strangely, the top-of the range C-50 Vertigo was nowhere near as comfortable for me - it has the same fixing mechanism, but the helmet shape is very different and more like the Atmos/Ionos.
It is really very light (lighter than my Bell Sweep R) and has fabulous venting, so keeps you nice and cool.
Only downside is that being relatively new to the UK, some of the accessories are not yet available, but as long as they eventually appear as aftermarket items, I will be happy as the helmet itself is an absolute gem.
If you look around, they do quite a range of colours, but be prepared to hunt, as most places are just stocking the Team Sky version which will not be to everyone's tastes!!
Overall, a terrific helmet that really stands out from the crowd.

Got this a few weeks back after looking around for a while, saw it in C+ helmet review and it doesn't disappoint.
Was wary of the fact it is one size for all but this is not an issue. It fits me superbly (I had a small Giro before) and the lady too (she has a large Giro).
You can even pick them up cheaper if you hunt around. Got mine from Athlete Service for £103, and they have the full range of colours too.
Like Mark found this more comfortable than the Vertigo (who's gel pads got stuck in my hair after trying it on!!) but insect nets are separate and not currently available to my knowledge.
And I was the only person wearing a Kask helmet in the park at the weekend. I'm sure that may well change very soon though.

Wear it.
Wear it good.

The Kask helmets are generally good, with some nice touches- reflective material in the straps at the back and the under the chin is some leatherette (can't believe I just used that word....) erm fake leather anyway, feels better than the nylon strap.
I use their pointy hat (TM) for about a minute at a time for 200m time trials but triathletes who use it like it very much as well, cool enough etc.
One slightly strange effect, which comes from it being made in Italy (really made there, not made in Taiwan and re-badged), is when I wear it and ride home drunk late at night, I tend to sing "Santa Lucia" instead of the usual C of E hymns.

I bought one of their aero lids of your man here ^ and used it in a 100. No idea what it would do for time saving (I was wearing trainers) but I forgot about it during the race which means it didn't annoy me which means it's good.
Always, always, always try helmets on (or if you must buy online make sure they have a suitable try/buy return policy).

I'm supposed to be getting a K10 this year, no idea when it'll turn up (through work) but will provide a "review" when it does.

Thanks for the replies!
Maybe I´ll get one and see if it fits.
No one in Sweden carries them I´m affraid. My main problem is that helmets always sits on top of my head, doesn´t feel like they protect much then.
Any other helmet that is deep?Buying from wiggle som returns shouldn´t be a problem (I hope)...

helmet never protect much anyway, wiggle should be fine with their return policy.
I know you should really try a helmet on before buying and all that stuff blah blah blah but I can't. Does anyone have one of these helmets? If so how does it fit? CRC user reviews say to size down but other places had said buy true size.
