Giro do a GI-style helmet for snowboarding called the Bad Lieutenant. I used one on my bike for a while but lack of ventilation made it very hot to wear.

Nazi salute is of roman origin. It shouldn't offend you either. Do Circus Maximus or Domus Aurea offend you? :-?

Steel helmets were never really any good for protection, but those fritz lids sure do look good!
On topic, my Met Styx saved me from a serious head ache this morning, so I can recommend it highly enough.

Specialized don't currently have stock but will have in December. The new 2010 pads are a lot better if you can weight for a month or so?
If not try calling round a few of the larger Specialized dealers Evans ect ect
-

Cycle Surgery sell the helmets. Probably worth asking in store.
-
• #174
I've bought them in-store from Condor, Sigma Sport and from Evans Cycles mail order. I'd also try the Specialized concept stores if you are having problems. Seem to be renamed as S-Works pads now when they were 2D pads before.
