i'm not 'cussing' on trendy bands......dont know where you got that from mate....

also, life without buildings were excellent without really needing to try....pretty fucking original, AMAZINGLY tight live band and not a spec of bullshit.....her lyrical content was far more developed than i think you get.

this has got to be part of an elaborate joke that's going over my head. dude she's just gibbering fucking nonsense. weirdly enough i really enjoy it and i might go and put on that live record in a bit now that i've thought about it. but there absolutely no way that you can try and argue that they are better, cooler, more ethical, more 'into da music maaaaaaaaaaaaaan' or whatever you're trying to argue. it is literally a woman with a ridiculous accent slurring and yelping her way through a record, she could be reciting the koran for all i know. don't see what sets her apart from kate nash, for example.

Because Kate Nash, CLEARLY, has not one genuine bone in her body.....is something you can hear, see and tell by the way she presents herself, the way she acts, sings, dresses, writes her albums, covers shit songs on the live lounge, talks about, sings about and indeed IS.

LWB were doing something completely different to any other band around at the time.....Sue Tompkins' lyrics often spoke about simple, every day things like relationships or the monotony of life with with heavy repitition, aliteration and with artistic flair.

The whole 'i hate trendy bands' or whatever you're trying to crowbar into my arguement is flawed.......flawed because i have NEVER said that a particular genre is shit......a band can be great and gain popularity and 'cool'...but it is something that should be fucking earned, earned because you deserve it.....my issue is with the people who make music as a by-product of what they really want.....and thats not me misreading people/bands or artists....its as plain as day!!!
