I'm light but I've got 36h front and back
I'll bin the extra spokes when they fix the road
-
• #28
the wieight difference between 36h and 32 holes i would say is not really worth it
go for the 36h it builds a stronger wheel -
• #29
I went for 36 hole as a) that's what the first hub I got was, and b) no harm in a little extra strength I thought.

:) Irish Langster style eh
It was an attempt to disprove the old adage "you can't polish a turd" =P

4 extra spokes
4 extra nipples ( never a bad thing )
and
8 less holes ( rim and hub )wouldn't they balance themselves out weight difference = next to nothing

I'm finally back on track to build my fixed gear (having got sidetracked by buying a carbon road bike last summer) The problem is as stated in the title, which option would be best for the rear wheel? I'm going to run a zenith hub on a mavic open pro, and as there is no price difference between 32/36 would it be better to opt for the more bombproof 36?

choose whichever you want and tango it down.
-

32H looks better.
You're gonna get flamed as this has been discussed at least once before.
-
• #35
Best go for 36's.... in case of bombs.
