I admit i have poor eyesight but those courts appear to be light free, no? I hope they do.
So Thursday 17th, a week today. What's everyone saying about going to Shoreham for a few hours. It's Jamies birthday and he has expressed that instead of going for drinks at a bar or whatever he'd like to have a knock about at the indoor court. I'm definitely in, Jamie's in, i'm assuming Josie is in. Please put your names down. And bring him a present.

LEt's try and get a good turn out for this guys, that way we can really feel what it is like to play on the court, and bring the cost down a bit

Just looking at the Stoneham court, it looks to be a pretty decent size. Bigger than Preston Park anyway. General consensus regarding court size is the bigger the better. Maybe we should try this place out, see what the surface and size is like , see if the local youts use it much etc.

Only issue with Stoneham is they have those stick out goals so the backs aren't flush so there would be an issue there. Apart from that it looks good (pending lights). Have a look in street view.
Also check out the court I highlighted in the map above Stoneham, that one looks like it might have potential too.
Looking forward to this, can we do this from 6 or later? I need to get back from London, have asked if I can get back by 6 though:

I Checked out Stoneham park. There are no floodlights but the court is a really nice size. Tim is right about the goals though, they do stick out into the court.
Didn't check out the other court as I didn't read your comment till I got home, I'll tyr and check it out on Monday, Im away all weekend again -

Check out the other one on the map. If you zoom in the shadows on the ground look like they could be floodlights over the court. It looks a decent size too. I think we should check that one out

Looks like Woody was right. The other court is not lit, they are basket ball goals. It looks like an awesome court though. Boarded all the way around and a nice size. No sticky-out goals either.

does anyone have a 26" tyre, slick as possible please? CRC cancelled the tyre I ordered as it was out of stock, 3 days after ordering it in time for Sunday. I just want a stop gap until I get a decent one. Ta
I'm up for playing Shoreham for J's bday, should be cool.
re: Court for the winter have a look at this map. These are two that I remeber seeing when I worked around that area. It looks like they both have lights.
Does anyone fancy a ride to check out what they are like?
