Well now to be fair, Pistanator's Birds I'd Like To Yentz thread was a low, the Glossy Pics/Pastry thread was just part of the tricky gradient that lead in that general direction.

Might be worth sending a message to DeFeet highlighting that their product is being used to promote the objectification of women. Looking at the DeFeet blog, they seem quite supportive of women in cycling, and although they may not have any control over what some website who has purchased custom socks from them can do with those socks, they could step up and express their displeasure of them being used in such a way.
