thanks for tonight chaps, there were 16 of us, two cleared their debts, so we got £54 (16 x £3 plus £6), less court hire £25, so £29 to pot! :)
EDIT: PLUS matt sorted out £3 last week (:)), so as far as i can make it out (i stopped updating the original thread since 16th Dec as it's getting way to complicated - my fault), we now stand at £175 in the polo pot (i would appreciate someone else give the maths a go?). This is great as we can have a crazy time at the tourney (or pig the fuck out at ucaneat tomorrow ;) ). No champagne though this time.
I know we've been chatting about Franklins, hopefully we can agree tomorrow night to get a bulk buy sorted (i think get them now as to wait til the boys go to the Apple is a bit too long and we're already suffering with a shortage).

gentle reminder, few £3 coins missing from the pot from tonight and previous weeks ;)
10 paid (i think, if i'm wrong please let Fred know) + Gabe cleared debt
£33 less £25 court = £8 to pot = £194 pot
less £60 for pavillion hire (thanks for sorting the cheque out RV, make sure you get a receipt!)**£134 pot **
not sure if any of you are following my activity over on the london forum, but i've been conversing with Franklin to get some cheap balls shipped over. They will only take a direct order if we cough up at least $500 USD. I'm negotiating with LHBPA to see if they want to help out to get the figures up. If we get the balls direct, they will cost us $2 USD each (ONE pound per ball) + shipping costs. Bargain!
However Franklin are a bit slow at replying to emails, so watch this space. If this all works out, you will each get 4 balls for free (natch) with a good few spare for tourneys etc. This batch will last the current crop of our polo players for a good while, a good investment I think. I'd imagine we'll put in about £75 worth. If anyone feels this is too much or little, discuss.

Hmmmmmm i think the contribution idea for mallet heads is a bit hippy delusional on my part . The HDPE end caps cost more than 1.50 before i've machined them/bonded them/machined them again in a poisonous fug of burning plastic . From now on they're a tenner , or 1/26 th the price of an aerospoke.

no problem with that, only seems fair since you're putting in all the work and sourcing of materials.
Anyone know of a source of ski poles?
