I've never bought a guitar with paperwork, make of that what you will... Happy I could introduce you guys, he's an interesting chap...

Get a little Fender! If you can find an 80s Super Champ I'd highly recommend one, great size, terrific sound and plenty loud enough for gigs let alone for pissing about at home...

Super Champ sounds like a solid choice.

Was thinking an AC30 combo as an option...

AC30 will be too big and too loud... Get an AC15, good size and will be all the amp you need... I love the hand wired version the best but not sure that comes with master volume, which you probably want... One of the greatest guitar amps ever devised by humans, I've played a couple of incredible OG ones... Kinda matches a GWF too...

Ac15 is a good shout. You can’t play a WF through a ho hum amp.

oof those OTP AC15's aren't cheap - but yer right. no point playing a guitar like that through trash.

anyway - i'm in no rush, will keep my ear to the ground for any 2h deals.

I found a used one recently for only 800 bucks, very nearly grabbed it but soon realised I'd have nowhere to fucking put it... My amp corner is full!
