Price looks about right given what people are asking on Reverb. Not a massive bargain, but if you like and it it floats your boat go for it!

What he ^ said, go for it!
While we're on the subject of Les Pauls... I was idly youtubing the other day and happened upon a Trogly review of the Buckethead signature, WTF?!?

Someone's just chucked a mint Yamaha THR10C on MarketPlace for $175... I've offered $150, it's black, will look ace on the bookshelf and then I've got a proper front room amp...
This is silly, isn't it? I'm hoping the guy tells me to fuck off...

My one note on the Les Paul Studio is that if you want an LP shape guitar around the £500 price point there are definitely better guitars out there unless you simply must have Gibson on the headstock...
Just had a quick glance on Thomann and even new at that price there are a few things I'd personally rather.
Hagstrom Super Swede
Epiphone Les Paul Custom ProThere's a couple of PRS, Gretsch and ESP LTD single cuts in the price range too and that's just for new guitars, surely some nice things available secondhand there too... unless you have to have Gibson on the headstock :)

^^I was gonna say that. Basically if I had £500 to spend on an LP shaped object i'd get something else. But I thought maybe you really wanted the studio so I kept schtum.

A double cut Jnr with a P90 since you're asking.
-
• #7758
I'd quite like one of those.
PRS SE One.This is the one I think I'd go for if I were going for a single P90 at that price range...

one of these please (but i do already have a LP doublecut with p90)

That's a bloody gorgeous looking guitar!

Love that. I definitely want a guitar with p90s at some point.

Cheers for the advice. Going to see if he will take 450 next week to save him the faff of eBay, if not I'll look at some of the suggestions above maybe even second hand.
Mainly played my acoustics since I started learning but i've had a stupidly long hiatus. Only electric at the moment is a starter kit Les Paul and accompanying amp. Will need to upgrade the amp; nothing big, if/when I get the Les Paul or something else

Will need to upgrade the amp
Let me know if you get round to this, I might have something up for sale fairly soon.

A friend of mine is endorsed by Yamaha and plays one of these, he loves it... Says it's the best stage guitar he's ever owned, shame it looks so bloody cheap... Not a fan...

I’ve not seen one close up - I like the silhouette though. Yamaha is a rad company. Guitars, Pianos and Motorcycles? Got to respect that.

I do have a lot of respect for Yamaha stuff, if he was playing a Flying Banana I'd be all over it!?

Lucky man... You should be spending more time in here!

Owning a bass does not make you a bass player... I paid peanuts for it, it's basically a wall ornament. I play the odd riddim on it from time to time though.

southpaw, weird geo or photo phlip?

That doesn't stop @greenhell from popping in from time to time... It's lovely, does it play ok? Picture of yours please...

That’s hot Lo. That’s a bad Bass right there. Slap. Etc.

Reverse dildo...
Better picture of the les Paul. Viewed it tonight, couldn't play it because my left hand ring finger is broken and splinted. Has a couple of small chips on the main body but other than that it looked like a nice example
