I've always played it without a capo in silly positions, not an easy thing to do BTW...

Some pedal advice please!
I have a Boss BD-2 with a Keeley Electronics Phat mod. When I plug it in the light works, but there is no clean or distorted sound. I have tested all the cables and power supply and they are all working with another Boss pedal. I've taken the back off and can't see any disconnected wires or glaringly burnt solder. Is there anything else I should check? Failing that, does anyone have a recommendation for a someone I can send the pedal off to repair? I don't really want to post it back to Keeley in America.

Moose's Custom Electronics in Dublin is my recommendation if you don't mind posting it over and back?

You might try an ad on thefretboard.co.uk, which is not terribly bassy, or basschat.co.uk, which is, but charges £7/item over £50 or £20/year.
All moot anyway as greenhell should buy it.

Cheers, any idea of the value?
I emailed a shop on Denmark st that were interested but I can't imagine they'll give me much.
It's living in its case, in a cupboard, same as it has been for 20 odd years, which is a waste

^^^ About right I reckon. The 1000s fetch more but I'd ackcherly prefer the 900 as it's passive, and having two pickups is nice.

Nice one. I'll buy you all a beer with the proceeds if it sells
That's 400-500% return on my investment over 20 years.
At this rate I'll be a millionaire in 2000 years!

I'm an idiot, I bought another Mk1 Guv'nor today... Just so I don't have to take my other one off the board if I'm playing with the turbo lot... I'm an idiot cuz I really, really need a decent interface for recording, gahhh!!! #tipsygearacquisition

I bought another guitar. I am broken - how does this keep happening?
-
• #5624
Not keeping the Guv'nor, made in Korea and you can really tell the difference sonically... Sounds nothing like the UK made Mk1...
I'm out of jail! I'm buying an audio interface immediately...

Moving on a few bits if people are interested.
Selling my first generation Apogee Duet (the silver firewire one) with cables and 400/800 converter. £80 now sold!
Pair of Fostex PM0.3 powered monitors - tiny but great. £70
Also got a pair of freestanding Tannoy Mercury M3 speakers in cherry finish. £40?
And a Fender Blues Junior III for £400 - mint condition, only bought it six months or so ago, just not using it.
Am after a small steel string acoustic so interested in trades.
Exactly. He's sweet. And I never bothered figuring out the second guitar part till I watched that.
