  • Gotta love a slope shoulder Gibson...

  • Yeah man. Is that a brand spanker? Where did you get it from?

  • I was feeling like i'd made a big purchase after ordering another Souldier strap this week. Got this "Hendrix" one but in a reddy browny blacky sort of colour. Suh-weeet!

  • i thought you'd spelled 'shoulder' incorrectly and then i clicked on the link and now i'm sad. that strap belongs on an ovation... in a christian coffee morning band.

  • holy fuck!

  • New from a local shop. I think the price was fairly reasonable, as there's a slightly updated 2016 model coming out. I've read some opinions calling the "reissue" j35 thin sounding, but I don't think that's the case with this one. Bright and punchy or sumtin'.

  • 1939 Gibson Recording King Mk5 not something you see every day, this was refinished in the 70,s with Gibson L5 tail, tuners and bridge, been through a world war and still going

  • That's really really cool. Love the Gibson off-brands.

Ever thought of painting the logo back on?

  • Some hot acoustic action on here today, I'll have to post a pic of my Kalamazoo K14 when I get back to Queensland... Mine's beat to shit tho', made in 1937 and looks like nothing compared to that ^...

Ha. Thanks for ruining it man. I have four of these in different designs. I dig them.

  • whatever steams your onions, hoss.

    #kumbayah

  • Holy shit that's gorgeous.

  • Agreed. Absurdly nice.

  • Me and my new hippy guitar strap (which looks ace btw) will playing a free gig at The Miller in London Bridge about 9pm this evening. All welcome.

  • Cheers guys, had thought about re-decaling it but who do you give it too, to do that.

    Andy

  • Is that from the grosvenor?

    #hartz

  • yes i steeled it.

nope, actually when coupled with a one tonne peavey 4x10 was it the low frequency provider from juvenile badly dressed Islington three piece shouty countrymathpunk idiots Daddy Long Legs in the mid 'oughties. This amp has played the Garage more times than you've had hot flushes.

shit. Someone put our 7" on youtube. horrible horrible soundquality. Appropriate.

It then did widdly dink bass duties in Mathrock weirdos Quadrilles for a bit before getting in the bass player's mum's way for three years while he lived in first Mongolia and then Italy.

Now it's sitting in my hallway attracting spiders.

It's very loud. Anyone want it? For swapsies maybe?

  • After about 8 months of searching, I finally found my Holy Grail. The one that I will never think to sell or change for anything else.
It's a 2001 Parker Nitefly, before the company was sold and is in mint condition.

  • it looks like one of the knobs is trying to escape!
looks good, much better than the all black ones.

  • I kinda of like it. Reminds a bit of

  • ^^nobody want that bass amp?

  • Seeing as we're all here...

If I raise the stop tailpiece on my Les Paul will the string tension ease a bit or is that scientifically unpossible?

Pretty sure I tried the same trick on my old Les Paul and it failed but that was bloody yonks ago... What say you, nerds?
