I need a couple of hard cases, preferably Hiscox for my Epiphone and my Gibson... Anyone got anything they wanna part with?
Also need a flight case for a Fender Twin Reverb... Hit me up if you can help, I'm running out of time... x

Hey Joe, I have a hard case for en epiphone SG if that helps. Don't use it. You're welcome to it

Will it survive a trip across the world in a container, David?
I'm thinking I may just buy a couple of discounted (£70) brand new Hiscox cases, bit spendy but will be able to get most of my money back for them in Oz if need be...

I think it was Night Time Girl by The Seeds that used one of those Vox guitar organs, sounds great but I hear they never really worked when you wanted them to...
Much like those early guitar synths...

Weerd. and pretty cool. Makes me want to read Temperament again.
I love that really precious stylised muting of the strings from the bridge that classical players do at the end of any piece. I might start doing at the end of one of my three chord wonders.
I played thee most amazing acoutic at the studio the other day. A late 50s Gibson J50 (I think? I didn't even ask. I must be losing my nerd skillz). Anyway. It was the most incredible sounding acoustic I've ever played. Light as a feather and worn and easy to play. Huge sound but nothing clangy or metallic about it whatsoever. It wasjust all woody and warm and entirely lovely. *faps

Just sounds out of tune

Somebody must have mentioned this, but Rob Chapman's YouTube channel is good value for reviews, technique and general guiter-related silliness.

Oh man. WANT. Is that a Filter-tron (sp?) too? Nice.
Unfortunately I've spent waaaaay too much on recording (amongst other things) lately and need to rein it in a bit. Will keep an eye on that model though. I hanker to introduce a bit of twang to the elvers thang.
We must get together and write a set for our upcoming bandstand collabo dude. I kind of fancy going a bit off piste and doing a few new covers. Maybe some mid-period Bob? Definitely Different Drum and a Nick Lowe number too. Let Things Slide currently in the running. Oh and I want to do a couple of old Disney things too. SOMETHING FOR THE KIDS!

I was at home with the parents on the weekend. dad has bought a new toy, guild D63 dread from the early 90's when they were still made in Rhode island. Much jamming was had as we both play (he properly). I'm always amazed by the individual character of acoustic guitars and this one is special. mellow and forgiving, warm and woody. Love it.
