You'll get lost for H O U R S Rick. Let me know when you're in Melbourne. :)
Should be practicing more but y'know.
Planning on plugging this all in to Ableton, aligning the midi clock and making some crazy tones.something tells me I'll be buying a strat...

Oh. My.
Luckily I'm after single coils, otherwise that's precisely what I'm after. -

Let me know if you need a retail assist on this, A$2k up here in Brissy. I am so tempt. I already have two strats I don't want, I REALLY don't need a third. 😋
I think it'll really tie the music room together. 💅

I just picked up a "Mexican Strat" on eBay that I knew was a partscaster, arrived yesterday. It's a Powerhouse MIM neck from 1998 and a Squier body that's had some changes - CTS pots and stuff like that. Plays quite nicely. Will keep one eye open for a nicer body for it.

Wait for nice bits on MarketPlace and spend waaaaaaaaay more than you planned to.
There’s a cyclist in every guitarist it seems…

This is nice!
Would prefer maple neck though.I had a dream last night I bought a sonic blue strat with a tortoiseshell pickguard

Actually it could have been a Mustang. Either way, it was nice

I've been lusting over Eric Haugen's Mustang recently

I love that.
But I don't like strats.
*fidgets awkwardly*

You're right, I hadn't even considered that. Maple would look much nicer, tho' I much prefer rosewood necks to play.

I like the pink switch thingies.
Damn. Re: board on last page.

PS You know how I was saying I love my Super Champ with the old speaker? Plugged it in today and it sounded really shit to my ears, tried different guitars through it, most sounded bad. Ugh!!! 🤣
Think I'll play through the AC15 for a while.

Heh, oh shit! You broke the magic!
I’ve now started lusting over one of these. https://www.pre-warguitars.com/model-j

Very nice but so spendy!! My Martin 00-15m is the acoustic I'll take to the grave, sounds so, so sweet, heavily recommended. And so much cheaper than that!

Haha.
It's like you know me well...Don't recon I'll buy w/o playing, so am limited to Melburn options.
Might go and have a play with this later

Just plugged my Glaser Bender in and all is well, must've had shit in my ears yesterday.
-
• #13872
How's that bender settling in?
-
• #13873
Man, it's perfect! My local guitar tech guy put the neck back on, there was a bit of work to do on the frets, and it's been great from day one. So smooth and quiet compared to the Parsons Green, really in love with it. The hotter stock pickups sound great too, less Nashville, more Memphis. Which is what we want! 🚂
I'd like white plastic buttons but these tuners do a great job so I may leave the poor thing alone now. The Parsons Green is on MarketPlace, hopefully it'll shift soon. Then this can go in the rack, I'm out of space. 🤡

Had to buy a keyboard bag and classical guitar gig bag for the eldest before she heads off to university - best value for money looked to be the Thomann one.
Obviously, as a northerner, I needed to order enough so as not to incur any shipping costs - and so now I have a Harley Benton TE-62 on its way as well. Not expecting wonders from something that costs £130, but the reviews are good. I'll report back.

Nice work! The Harley Benton guitars are supposed to be insanely good for the money.
Don’t get a strat
