^Very handy.
P.S Those Honduran's were pretty sub-standard. Hot uneven burn, bland flavour, 2/5. -

I'm up for it. I've got plans this Sunday and the bank holiday weekend my mom and aunt are visiting from the States. Should be free outside of that.

Cool, well maybe not this weekend as it's set to be a cold one, but next Sat afternoon is provisionally good with me.
I would like to re-re-re suggest the Sun and Doves (search that in google, and it's the first result, or at least should be). On a bike it's about 15 minutes from the north side of Waterloo bridge, so there should be no complaints about it not being Central.*
Other than that, I'm open to suggestions...*I fully expect there to be complaints.

Bump for the smoking of cigars in salubrious surroundings with ETOH.
I am free this Sat & Sun but with heavily preggers wife must give plenty of notice! -
• #684
Maybe it's too early in the morning, but I can't figure out what ETOH stands for..?
I smoked 5 cigars on Friday evening and Saturday day...and I'm (perhaps foolishly) quite proud of myself!
This Saturday afternoon definitely has potential for a cigar smoking session - though one of our key players may be unable to attend due to visiting relatives... Hopefully Dale will check this thread and confirm/deny...
If Dale isn't around, maybe we should hold out for another weekend... but we could always meet for an evening pint and a cigar after work, SE beers used to be a popular smoking venue...

Had a Juan Lopez Robusto #2, & a Litto Gomez Chisel-head at the w/e.
God-bless the herf-ing weather.

This weekend I'll be showing my mom around Cambridge so won't be able to make a herf. The weather is getting great for cigars though so I am keen to do one soon.

Nice one! How much did they set you back?
I was considering going to the event - where I would have got 4 Behikes and a ERdM (1 El Rey del Mundo Choix de L'Epoque (UK Regional Edition 2009), two Cohiba BHK 52s and one each of the BHK 54 and BHK 56). Only problem being that the event cost £150. To be fair, I would've got quite a lot for that - the cigars plus loads of booze - but I ended up deciding the 150 could be better spent solely on Cigars...I feel I made the right choice, but am pissed off I didn't get to try the Behikes... Let us know how they are VV.

Looking and getting a few for special occasions (got a couple of weddings in the summer and my 1yr anniversary in November) but am loath to buy a full humidor for 5-10 cigars.
Any tips on poormans storage?
Likely to be at least 3 varieties/ flavours. -
• #697
Cigar-storage is important - you can ruin a smoke if not stored well - even a 1/2 decent humidor will only set you back £60-ish.......

If you're on a real budget though, these do actually work (come with small humidifier):

Not sure if I fancy getting a humidor as I will only be getting the odd cigar and smoking it pretty swiftly, its only because its cheaper and easier to buy a few for the summer events now that I was querying the storage.
Any plans for a central saturday/ Sunday smoke anytime soon?
I'm in deppest darkest essex so will have to commute in.
Meet at a pub on the river for beer and tobacco? -

If you buy cigars in tubes they can stay quite fresh for a couple months. Let me know if you want some, have a few kickin' about.
Working every week end till the 3rd of July, thats me out.

TBH you can use an airtight tuppawear box with a Xikar Dry Mistat Crystal Tube for what you want to do - just open the box once every couple of weeks to let some fresh air in, and keep it somewhere with a stable temp out of direct sunlight.

I use one for my overspill from the humidor, total cost about 14 quid
