No problem mate, I was planning on bringing them.
My coolidor was between 75 and 80 for a while with no sign of coming down. I think I need more beads... I managed to get it below 75 by filling all the empty spaces with excess cigar boxes - it now hovers between 70 and 74. Bloody annoying though, I really want it at 65%...

......so, on the basis we have some semblance of a meeting place, may I enquire as to people's preferred timing?
-
• #1004
I'll be about from 1.

Mudlark at 1 is fine by me.

FFS, I'm out. My foot is worse than I was told. Apparently they missed a bad spiral fracture down the second metatarsal 10 days ago and it has since gotten worse. Hardly surprising since they told me to walk on it and do exercises. I'm supposed to be laid up and immobile till Wednesday now.

Noooooo! Dale, it wont be the same without you. Surely we can steal a wheelchair from somewhere...
-
• #1008
Will it have spoks?
-
• #1009
I'm sure that can be arranged.
-
• #1010
You got crutches Dale?
I have some if needed.
Let me know if you need any NHS assistance etc. -
• #1011
I got one crutch the night it happened and had been using it to hobble about. Today they gave me a matching set and told me to quit hobbling and not put any weight on it. It's just really annoying but I guess I have to be glad they do have a quality control system where a radiologist reviews all the x-rays. It could have been missed completely and it sounds like it would have just gotten a lot worse.
Time to start planning the next herf...

Was that from your crash?
-
• #1013
Yeah, the one from the 14th.
-
• #1014
Weather looks like it will be shite too, may need to abstaine if its torrential.
-
• #1015
BBC weather says that it's going to be cloudy, but no rain from 9am, right the way through to the evening. The torrential rain is on forecast for the early hours of the morning. We should be alright.
-
• #1016
Yeah, the one from the 14th.
Sorry to hear that, look after yourself.
-
• #1017
As much as I hate to let you fine gents down, I have scored a ticket for Twickenham.
Good herfing.
-
• #1018
How is our attendence rate for today looking?
-
• #1019
Poor. It's hammering it down my end. 2mile ride to the station gas put me off.
I'm not coming.
After the royal wedding I will be up for herfing, weather too unstable atm.
Bad times. -

Jamie, I think that leaves you and me....
I can pick up my SLR's anytime if you want to rebook for a better time? -
• #1021
Shit, i didn't see this till just now. I'm at the mudlark... Oh well, at least it got me out the house. I guess we'll have to do it another time.
-
• #1022
shit Jamie, im really sorry.
I will buy you a beer at the next one -
• #1023
Apologies for the rain-check (literally) chaps.
Agreed, Blighty's weather really doesn't lend itself to outdoor smoking in Feb!
However, recent events shouldn't deter us from getting together when the skys are fairer.
Look forward to catching-up when it's warmer / dryer.

Whats all this outdoor smoking malarky! - Out on prolonged snowboard trip in Switzerland at the moment and in heaven, hotels i am staying in all have Humidors and smoking rooms. Love it.
-
• #1025
nice.
Mudlark is fine for me, only 9mi.
As long as it has atmosphere & tap beer (and prerequisite good smoking area) I am there
J would you be able to bring SLR's along?
Over watered my humidor so it was at 80%, it was interesting to see what got a touch of white mould and how the inferior smokes changed their density. Lid left open for a while and its back to 70%
