it just no fun doing these kind of rides when it's drizzling

The date: 19 December, Saturday before Christmas, 2pm.
That's when New Oxford Street is at its best.

Can we do one of these from east to west.

1. We dont need to worry about the one-way road, so can ride the whole route.
   
2. That way I finish closer to home.

I did this ride twice on Thursday, once in each direction. I wish I'd known I was on the course, I wpould have taken a day's rest before heading back.

Thats a bit short, no? Hows anyone meant to get bladd- OOHHHRIIIIIGHT that's the sobering up stop for those who are likely to struggle with the HC hill climb? (oramidoingitwrong?)

Is this happening again this year? I've been thinking of stepping up my rides and perhaps might be ready to try this.

was thinking of an Xmas Special Oxford Street ride although i think tynans original route is a bit of a stretch i might cut down the new oxford street bit and just stick to oxford street itself, holborn is a bit far after all
it is the festive period and we all have xmas shopping to do
maybe we could all bring our shopper bikes

i'll be attempting it at between 7.15 and 7.18 this evening if anyone would care to join me

I don't think there's enough daylight in December to be able to complete even the first leg of the New Oxford Street ride Dicki. Remember how many poor souls we lost in the summer attempt? And that was with favourable conditions! May god have mercy..
