I notice it more because she’s supposed to be the Home Secretary, generally accepted to be one of the most senior posts in government. It’s ironic that she’s also generally accepted to be one of the most useless Home Secretaries ever. Her ethnicity and gender have nothing to do with this fact.

Yes that was discussed. But her family would possibly have direct connections or just an affinity with those affected.
Not my theory, not provable but she has consistently acted in ways that are negative towards the black community and I haven't heard any other reason put forward as to why.

Nothing personal and I don’t think you meant anything negative by it: Something about this phrasing strikes me as off but I can’t put my finger on it. Being an immigrant isn’t a misfortune to rise above, even acknowledging the very real classism in the UK.

India has long had a very shadist culture, there is no need to invoke the experience of the Indian diaspora in Africa to explain why a light brown person of Indian heritage would be inclined to despise dark brown people.
