I've yet to see something which was improved by transfer to the idiot box.

Wasn't aware of an earlier radio version.
News Quiz > Have I Got News For You > Mock The Week

The programme that makes me laugh the most is still Never Mind The Buzzcocks. Not always, but sometimes it's still side-splitting.

I laugh out loud at QI, never mind the buzzcocks and Have I got news for you almost each week. I rarely laugh out loud at sit coms.

+1 for the IT Crowd, but I often find the british comedies I like have either Graham Linehan, Chris Morris or both, behind them.
Agreed on all of this. I do really enjoy the IT Crowd but I don't often laugh out loud at it. Father Ted OTOH has made me weep with laughter in front of the telly just sitting by myself.
My sister used to tell me to watch Bo Selecta. "You'll love it! It's the funniest thing on TV!!". Watched a couple of episodes and thought "what the flying fuckwagons is this horrible crap?" and told her I didn't enjoy it very much so she could stop telling me to watch it now please, thanks. She was like "what? but it's brilliant? You probably just don't get any of the jokes because you're deaf" and couldn't accept that the problem might just be that it wasn't funny.

I laugh out loud at pretty much anything, I'm easily amused, generally it's quite a good way to be, bit embarrassing at funerals tho.

^^ I could never get into Bo Selecta because the first time I saw it I was mashed and it was on s4c. Me and my mate assumed it was some off-brand Welsh Alistair Mcgowan.

Mrs Quinn's gran had "all things bright and beautiful" at her funeral and Me and Mrs Q almost exploded trying not to burst into laughter at the "purple headed mountain" lyric.

Peep show is also not bad. Or anything with Kathy Burke in it is guaranteed to be funny.

Is that why you post the word "Boo!" in every fifth post in the TNRC thread? Whatever the joke was originally, it's not very funny now.

"Why they all booing?"

We will probably look back on this as the great meme drought of winter 2012...

TBBT is on some channel or other right now.
I'm watching my first ever episode.
Half-way through it... an update: It's shit.
Seriously, I've barely cracked a smile. Once. And even then it wasn't a full smile.

Finished watching TBBT. Save your time people, it's shit.
And Sheldon is a chauvinist and despicable character. They try and dress it up as kooky, but no, he's just a jerk.
Friends was on another channel though. And it's been years, but that actually is still pretty damn funny.
Penny... We've already done that, Iain...
