To be fair the gentleman driving the car is a professional and a Ferrari 250GTE will most certainly NOT be anywhere near the front of a Mille Miglia affiliated auction so you can well assume he's driven a number of vehicles onto that stage.

Furthermore the speed he entered the stage with was excessive, obviously to give a bit of engine note.

Smooth braking on older cars is often easier as they aren't overly assisted.

Oh, and you forgot to take into account the drum brakes on that 250 GTE. Would have had a considerable impact on pedal sensitivity
