OLC of course I agree in part - I wouldn't spend a lot of time here if it was just an average forum...

But a repeated derail along the lines of "but this place is great, it's so much better than everywhere else" is tiresome. That's not to say it's not true, and I get that derailing is one of the things this place does best, but it's just that it becomes like so many other 'discussions' on the internet and in real life, that get shut down by people who frankly have no clue, and sometimes some people get fed up with it. It's not wrong to hope for better, here.
