You know, you're right. I don't really know why I continue to bother trying to get this forum to be remotely female friendly.

I find it a boring job, but I just can't deal with the amount of casual sexism that leads into the bigger anti-female slant on all cycling.

Maybe I've been on here too long, maybe I've been in the industry too long. Whatever it is, kids are going to do what they are going to do and there is no amount lecturing that will get any of you to think outside yourselves for long enough to see the bigger picture.

There is much to recommend about this place... the people, the events, and the kindness that every so often rears its head in humbling ways. However, there are problems which seem to stem from the sheer number of members these days, all with different interests and tastes. Crumb, for instance, likes boobs and tastes like strawberries.

I have to says the levels of sexism is a lots lower in this forum than elsewhere, the bouncing gif is probably the only properly sexists one on this forum.

it's refreshing to see a poster getting flamed for simply posting a picture of a (admittedly beautiful) girl who happen to be on a bicycle in the bike porn topic, i doubt that'd happen in other forum.
