Penultimate stage is an ITT. -

Great ride by Schleck at the end there. How does he manage to have enough energy left to just leave everyone behind?

Stage 19.
Good stage today. I'm "looking forward" to having a crack at that Morzine - Avoriaz climb in a few weeks time.

Was that someone running alongside with a big Phil Liggot cut-out mask? If so, class!
think i saw that too, headphones and all no? awesome

totally gutted for wiggo, thought he'd hang on. Guess sitting in there with schleck and contador will be too much. Still love the Wig.

• #1332
I think it's his real hair.
-
• #1333
Now let's watch and see BMC fall apart around Cadel and then him lose the yellow to Conti.
-
• #1334
Just don't stand on his dog, or he'll tear your head off.
-

My cat would kick his dog's arse.

Wiggo saying that he backed off from being cooked. Seem to remember him doing that last year and bringin some time back. Still a chance for the podium.
Mind you, bit of a silly move Sky pushing like that. Good that it put paid to Armstrong but I think they handed that to Schleck in the end. Could have done with leaving that for a bit longer and leaving another team to burn themselves off some more. Mind you, it has done the good thing to show up all the GC contenders form at the moment.
I'm going to revise my british biased podium prediction, and it pains me to say this, Evans, Contador, Wiggins.
-
• #1337
what breed is Evans' dog?
-
• #1338
I can understand Wiggo "backing off so as not to overcook himself", and he knows his body better than I do, but there's a rest day tomorrow....

I think he meant he was in the red and if he'd continued he'd have blown completely, so he eased off, knowing he'd lose time but minimising those losses. Sensible riding, but if he's going to lose time on a fairly easy mountain stage today then it doesn't bode well for the Pyrenees.

Sounds to me like he poked his head in the mouth of the pain cave but was too scared to enter.
-
• #1341
Well done to Contador for helping Spain win the World Cup!
-
• #1342
And Sastre, he was good too.

Wiggins won't be anywhere near the podium.

:-0

• #1345
Maybe he'll have to walk past the podium to collect his DFL
-
• #1346
wiggo, nowhere near podium.
i'm amazed that contador has like 3 climbers to help him in the team. didn't know you could train some oompa loompa's.
-
• #1347
hippy ftw in todays rest stage!
-
• #1348
Yeah, I'd definitely win today's stage..
So, where are the oompa loompas?

Lance should've gone to Wiggle. Obvious really...
