    Does the UCI impose fines for incidents like this? Not exactly a great example to set is it?

  • Vino in yellow?
    And RadioShack have promised some fun, why wait till Sunday?

    Too right. How can you expect people to take cycling seriously when these roadies can't even land a proper punch!

  • Doubtful after the moaning minnies whinged about it last year.

    A shame, though the Tour was more interesting with the radio ban.

    I think Barredo (in the blue corner) was fined 400 Swiss francs.

    Who expects a roadie to land a punch? they're all pretty tiny..

    We'll see. They've hardly covered themselves in glory so far. They've only ever shown one strategy in winning a GT before too, so it'll be interesting to see if they've got a plan B.

    At the end of that interview he starts moaning about the youngsters and how dangerous it is now. He and Jens sound like the RPM/Mr Smyth of the Tour.

    This is how roadies should fight;

  • I remember seeing an interesting strategy at Eastway (after a finish line pile-up) for avoiding the unsuitable-shoes-for-fighting problem. He sat down, calmly took them off, then stood up and started battering his opponent around the head with them. Very pragmatic.
