That. sucks.
Cervelo was my team this year. (you need to choose a team, right? that's how this works? I "supported" Motorpoint Marshalls Pasta for the Halfords tour series and they won. I was doing well).
You have to pick the team from your home town, or Pisti will call you names based around plastics and the like.

Weird, Astana only have 6 riders in the TdF this year. What's that about?

Armstrong
Kloden
Leipheimer
Horner
Brajkovic
Rast
Murayev
Popovych

Let's burn him; or nail him to a cross; or give him a two year ban; or something.

Slightly unrelated to the topic at hand, but has anyone been to watch the finish in Paris before?
My mother in law is visiting this summer and we'd planned to take a weekend trip to Paris anyway and it turns out she'll be here that weekend. I've got transportation and accommodation sorted, and I guess I can figure out the obvious things (get there early, bring sun cream) but anything else I should keep in mind?
Yes, been there. You need to get there fairly early but not more than a few hours at the most unless you are right up by the finish line. Take food and water. Near the Ferris wheel on the Rue de Rivoli is good because you can stand on the wall there and get a better view.

Not sure where to post this, but just saw that Bradley Wiggins follows some Linux feed on his twitter account. That a boy!

Cervelo are the team to watch, Haussler and Hushovd are dudes.

If you want to watch Haussler you had better find out where he lives and then buy some binoculars and find a bush to hide in: he's not riding the Tour because of a knee problem.
