If you had two hubs on rotation and a few spare rims/spokes, you could re-build a strong wheel as and when needed for £60, easy.

I don't really fancy rebuilding a wheel every couple of weeks.

Disks are also about different ways to play the ball too, not just a way of protecting spokes.

i used them until last month, they're really good but you need tiny sprockets - 13 for riding around, 15/16 for polo

16 isn't that small? would be fine for freewheel
