look for signs no longer need, lying out the front of houses recently sold/rented, and take them.
-
• #553
Or if you are really extreme, move house to get the signs...
-
• #555
a bit pricey
-
• #556
I thought so too, but possibly a good polo bike nonetheless.
-
• #557
no braze-ons... "were remove profesionally" WTF
-
• #558
still braze ons on the forks..
-
• #559
yeah that's mine (hopefully not for long!) - rear brake bosses taken off, front still on. You're right, poss a bit costy for a polo beater - I didn't build it with polo in mind, I built it with off road intentions - Just thought it might work for someone polo-wise.

hilarystone has some 170mm stronglight 100 cranks for 15 + 4 p&p. they've been up for a while, so you might get a discount...?
https://www.lfgss.com/thread38291.html
Some of you may look at them and think "An old road double chainset?! I'll break those in like 6 games!".
Others will notice the 86mm bcd, and that they come with 40t +30t unramped chainrings and that replacement chainrings are available from 28t-35t for a tenner from spa cycles or 13 quid for Zircal.
...and if you ever go on the track... they sell up to 54 teeth. -
• #561
I've got a set of these (well, 98s) on my bike now. Seem fine. I've dibsed this pair as well. Not sure I need them though...
-
• #562
H - you should get someone to buy the hollowtech 2 cranks he is selling and combine postage.
170mm Shimano Hone cranks with raceface 40T and bottom bracket. 35 quid
(I'm not sure if the bb is for 68mm or not.)
-
• #563
I may be interested in that, depending the BB lenght, as I need new cranks
-
• #564
I was thinking of those as well.. Good deal. I may undibs the other cranks though... Just not sure.

Played Grass Polo today and it went better than the Shoreditch day.
(no headlong crashes into brick walls for a start!) -
• #575
Not so many brick walls at the end of fields, I suppose.
Mos def give it a shot (again) though. Weather's about to get nice again. That's a good reason right there.
