So do 48h Goldtecs not exist anymore? I was hoping to get them for my new bike.
-
• #235
They do, you just have to order them directly from goldtec, think they're only on special order now, ask James Aufbruch, he got a pair recently.
-
• #236
Sweet, I'll give him a shout once(/if) my bike sells.
-
• #237
and probably 14 sell them too
-
• #238
...at a much higher price than ordering direct from the manufacturer...
-

48h Goldtecs cost £25 more than the normal ones if you get them from BETD. You just have to wait 2 or 3 weeks until they send a batch to get drilled.
This reminds me - anybody want a 32h Sputnik and a 32h front Surly hub (that is not in perfect condition but runs smoothly enough after an overhaul) ?

Just had one of the 48 hole DNA hubs delivered. It span a bit tight, but I loosened the cones a bit, and it's spinning fine now. The bearings are about an inch or more inside the hub shell - quite deep compared to the road and track hubs I'm used to. I assume that'll be a bit of extra protection. So, seems like a pretty awesome deal for 6 quid.
Todd your link is down
