What are peoples thoughts on this for polo potential? Looks too small for a 6 footer though right?

And sticking out s&a chain thingy (what's the proper name for them?!)
I've got a bike I don't play polo on and it's still forever getting knocked... -

So who's doing a order from Spa? I need spokes now, too.
And Jon, I think I need to buy a Sputnik from you. Might buy two.

I think Alexis put it through just now...

Sputnik rims are always ready to go, just say the word and I'll bring some to polo (£20 each).

Dan, Kona mtb frames are indeed awesome for polo but this is a bit too much to pay and probably too small for you.
Mine's a 19", try it out next time you are around and see how it feels then get on t'bay and see what you can find. £100 tops should sort you out for the main bits, then budget another £50 to convert to polo.

Helen, Cloud 9 Cycles in Camden sell Sugino RD cranks (165) for £12 - 15. They are branded Create cause thats what create supply on their bikes but other than an easily rubbed off decal they have nowt to do with Create. they are budget but perfectly decent cranks (I run them with no problems). Im sure they will have some small chainrings kicking about that you can get for cheap as well. Plus, its 10% discount for LHBPA members....

Get some 4-arm MTB cranks off ebay and Charlie the Bikemonger will sell you a 33t ring. Odd numbers are pretty hard to find in my experience.

I'm running 32:21 on some RaceFace XC cranks.

Hang on Bells, before you buy a whole new crankset, we might be able to get you a smaller chainring.
These are the Todds Sinz cranks right? -

If Charliebikemonger's Surly chainring alone is £32, would this entire 32t/33t crankset at £35 + £6 p/p be a contender?

Those Truvativ cranks are 175mm, which can make for pedal strike unless you have a high BB.
