extra protection against triangle goals...
I've never seen a frame like that, what's the idea behind those chainstays? -

I've never seen a frame like that, what's the idea behind those chainstays?Shorter rear triangle (supposedly for better traction whilst climbing) whilst maintaining plenty of mud clearance.

but really flexy bb
-
• #1762
I've always had trouble understanding the 'shorter rear triangle' argument. But I can see how getting the chainstays out of the congested area around the back of the b/b can help. It just seems like most designs don't (didn't) make the most of it.
Flying gate ftw. I would love to see a flying gate polo frame

Nice. Very tempted. Is it heavy? I'm an old woman and want light.
Also, is that a disk rear and v brake front? Does that work with a dual lever?

It's a beefy 4130 cromoly jump frame, weighs in at about 2kgs. It's not really ever bothered me too much, and makes travelling with it less of an issue (less chance of a baggage handler bending it). Plus I run really light wheels which make all the difference on the court.
Yep, cable disks and V's pull at the same ratio so you can use a dual lever.
this might be good for a smal lpolo player - gt chukker £50
