"]Carrera Subway, £250[/URL]Do y'all think the wheel base is too long on this? Seems not a bad buy otherwise.

I will never buy nothing in Haldfors, personaly
-
• #1180
It's not a Halfords bike though is it?
I know the mechanics will be shocking but that's fixable. -
• #1181
that Carrera brand is a Halfords brand
-
• #1182
Not all Carreras (although that one is):

Ah, grim. Out.
Thanks Rik.For the money, she should buy Skoota's awesome P1 although I don't think it's her style sadly.

• #1184
DO IT!!! i'd rather someone i know had it. love that bike.
-
• #1185
I love that bike! I admired from afar when you brought it to Newt once.
I don't think she wants to spend much more than £200 and as I said, it's not her style, but I'll have a chat. Maybe bring to the meeting tonight if she's at all interested. I'll let you know.
Can't believe no-one's bought it yet! -
• #1186
i can't believe either. i can't ghost it tonight though. If it dosnt go i'm just going to keep it.
-
• #1187
No worries. If she's interested we'll pop round B, but I think she's quite keen on a plug atm.
I'll bump your thread though if you like.

So, Jono's Archie is up for grabs again then.
It's getting better each time it changes hands. Thanks to Teenslain for wheels and Saddle. I've had it apart and fixed the stem but it's still not quite right. Or maybe that's just how speedway bikes ride. Either way, can someone come and get thisbeastbaby from South way? It's ss converted road wheel btw and needs some brake pads at the very least.
And it's red, which means it goes faster. -

[ s ] is strike through without the spaces.
I'll take it back Joni? I might frame it (I'm actually thinking of passing it on to a female housemate who wants to try polo)... is that bad form?
-
• #1191
Cheers, and noted.
I'd say it's not bad form for someone wanting to try polo. It might be an idea to let a noob have a good to see if it's still ride able or not.
I hope I don't have to ride the thing to yours though. :-S
-
• #1192
Heh, I could come get it... where are you based?
-
• #1193
East Dulwich, SE22.
I could maybe bring it to Newt at the weekend if we play. -
• #1194
I'll take it.... Where abouts dear? Balls too late. Argh.
-
• #1195
I'm going to be pretty busy this weekend, but if possible I'll come and get it or see you at Newington... should have more time next week though?
-
• #1196
Shit, that's the 2nd time JB :-s sorry dude.
Let me know when you're free Jon, no worries.

James! http://www.lfgss.com/thread52762.html#post1699234
Have Archie revisited their geometry for off track-ness?
54cm Arche frames for £80. This could be awesome.

is that similar to what MAX is using?

is that similar to what MAX is using?
nope, i built my own frame! Julia is using a Kona 29er though, with the right forks that would make a decent polo bike, someone take it!
It belongs to Scrapper, he's aware that it's on gumtree.
