  • Bar spins are not an essential, I just looked at this frame thinking it would be stronger than the Vigorelli, because it is marketed at a Ally Cat/Trick Frame due to trick frames normally being stronger. I ride bikes heavy and like the boxy feel of a straight bladed fork, that is why i started to look at this frame. If i to put a straight bladed fork on the Vigorelli then the toe overlap would be horrid. Get what i am saying?

  • With regards to BJ's customer service. Its absolutely and utterly cunting shite cunt fuck wank.

I had a nightmare with them with a scratched frame they sent me. They are rude, happy to call their customers liars and never get back to you when they say they will. I did post up about it before the server failure but it pisses me off so will unlikely write the full story again!

Nice frames, but I wouldn't buy from them again.

  • What is good about those compared to the BJ, you do them in BLB as well?

Much better Geometry and finish. Better quality paint. Better value for money.
    And yes.

  • Have you ridden one? How do they feel, I cant work out if the fork in the photo of the frame on the blb site is straight bladed or not, how much are they?

  • To be fair, they haven't got time for private customers anymore; they're busy fulfilling lucrative shop orders in wacky colours.

  • This was mine.
Really nice ride, tight clearances, highly recommended.
I think they are about £400 f&f. (Harry please correct me if im wrong)

  • .

  • Wow, that does cool really nice, if they are cheaper that the BJ, then i might just. Do you not have it anymore PiQuE?

  • nah man, got stolen :(

  • That sucks, what you got now?

  • Just ordered a Woodrup track frame.
Will stick a picture up when it comes, have to wait until Jan.

  • So anyone got one of these. Apart from the decals it's purdy.

  • I never got one, I e-mailed bob jackson and as someone said in the thread, they are not very helpful. I am planning a trip to Leeds soon to see family so might go down and have a look at one...

hmmm, Looks a lovely frame, not sure about the forks though to be honest.

  • I like the forks tbh, and I really like the boxy blunt feel of a straight bladed fork..
    You want one?

Yeah i think I actually might. I have a bit of a commute though so boxy forks might not be the answer.

I have a Vigorelli and went through a nightmare with them. Unhelpful is an understatement!

  • Yeah I looked up the thread and saw it was you who said you had a bad way with them..
Ill go have a look at them I think in the near future but if all is not what I think, ill go for an orlowski, how much are they harry? around 400?

  • Heres my BJ:

  • Did you find the bar set-up more comfortable this time?

I have to ask, why the chainstay protector? seemed kinda pointless since a fixed/singlespeed drivetrain never have any chain slap.

  • Thats really nice mate, I think I am going to go for a Orlowski anyway I have heard they are £385, but not sure if that is from blb or else where. Does anyone know where else I can get an Orlowski frame other than blb?

    Whats wrong with us?
    They are £400 here.

The only other place to get them is on the continent or 2nd hand.

Yeah much better thanks, although I will get another set of bars (track) and use them to swap out, along with removing the brakes to give track riding a go.

As for the chain stay protector, I had it spare so thought why not. I also suffer from extreme OCD.

    Thats really nice mate.

Cheers mate, got there in the end.

  • 25.5 inches? Really?? Looks like I'm gonna make a purchase real soon.

  • Yeah 25.5!
