Great service from tokyo fixed gear today, they helped me to loosen an over tightened bolt that i was starting to round off and gave me advice on avoiding squeaky breaks on my road bike. if they were more local i would use them a lot.

my story about TF:
Wanted to buy soma rush black frame with gold decals, but saw that it's ouf of stock, wrote 4 emails and one facebook message till I get response that they can get it and it will be at my home after 1 month or so, I was not in hurry so I agreed. Bought almost all the parts I needed for this build, hubs, headset, stem, bar, even ordered black soma fork from usa, bought saddle with little gold decals, and after 3 - 4 weeks of waiting I've got their email that they appologize, but they cannot get it and soma will not produce it anymore. I feel fucking awful now for all my spent money, time wasted for parts searching etc.

could the blame be on the exporter's side?

what frame size do you need, surely there is something else to build up?

I think alot of these things rely on the distributors triton told me they could get a black nature boy in a while back, then came back to me a week later saying the distributor lied to them basically

I've ordered 57. Sure it's the soma who stands behind Tf in this story, but its Tokyo fixed fault that they have informed me only after such a long waiting, I bet that they can get all the answers about shippings, amounts and other stuffs from the manufacturers in 2-4 days, after all if they don't know if they really can get it don't write to customers "yeah of course we can, just give us some money..."

Hopefully it'll be cheaper than the Wide Open, which is £475 F&F... I don't want to quote anything concrete at the moment.
