  • @pajamas - my father's preferred moniker for me is "an advance party for a famine".

'streak of piss' or '5 sticks of celery
    i prefer 'racing snake''

  • 'match with the wood shaved off'

  • a split pin

  • 'match with the wood shaved off'

    ace.

    7st piss wet through.

  • ooh, now I'm interested.

andyp = skinny little cyclist, more meat on a butcher's pencil
hovis = burly, could be a bouncer at a sixth form college
dammit = weight yo-yos wildly, true arse unknown

if the arione can sort all these people out it may truly be the saddle of all saddles..

I saw one in white in the bike shop near our sticks office. It looks schweet. ;-)

And I'm almost 100kg, so if it fits me as well...

  • Well this is turning out to be a rather interesting thread. I weigh around 75kg as well, so maybe the Arione would be a fairly good choice. I guess the setup is pretty key - it seems that on my Charge Plug I can run riser bars with a seat and be quite uncomfortable and then put some drops on to find that I'm more comfortable in the saddle. Could this either be that my body is moving position and putting on the saddle better or is it that I'm less weighted on the saddle and more on the bars?

I like the idea of the saddle library and I think between everyone on the forum we could have a fairly good range to swap between us. Why don't we start a 'Saddle Club', being quite similar to a Book Club and swap between so people can try different one?

  • 101.36kg, yes I have a big arse, I like my charge spoon, although I haven't done over 30 miles in one hit yet on it, (obviously i've covered more than 30 miles on it! but not in one ride) so not sure if I can rate it that well, but it seems to be really good and comfy, I am tempted by one of these arione things for my next bike though, after I get the 24 inch jobby finished.

To those born or raised in Scotland, this statement brings tears to their eyes!

  • Eh?

Have they got a massive aversion to 24 inch bikes or something?
