  • Easy to say on the Internet isn't it?

Is Krav Maga also teaching you how to laugh about posts of your own and others on the interweb?

  • Jesus Rudy... that is a pretty shocking story, hope you feel better soon.

  • Fuck me Rudy !

    What utter fucking cunts :(

    Hope you scab up quickly.

Happened to a friend a few months back, got punched off his bike - unconscious - battered - bike nicked.

They didn't catch the pricks who did it.

My friend did get £4000 criminal compensation though, I can get info from him if you want.

Here is his beautiful post mash-up face:

:( I hope he didnt scar too badly?

  • ^was wondering about that. How does your mate look now?

Scars in the face are something to be proud of though. In german academic fencing people call it "Schmiss", and carry it like a trophy.

  • This pic was quite funny!!!

  • I think I remember you telling me about this at the South's BBQ. That lump you have is quite something.
Good luck with the surgery :)

  • Thanks a lot everyone for the msg!!!
I appreciate for the help as well.

  • The OP I would guess is not native to the UK and therefore not used random pointless acts of violence because they only really occur in the UK believe it or not. In other countries people mug you.
I would also guess the OP did not react like a lot of people that have been born in a UK city when someone runs at you, most people would speed up, the OP did not and if he learnt KM he would have got up immediately to minimise a further kicking and if he felt justified neutralise the assailant. Running is the best self defence of course. It is fucking sad that people do this but it is a fact of life and you should do everything you can to minimise this happening to you.

Cheers Mate....how do i apply for that?

    What the hell?

  • That's a terrible story.
To my cost i've also come to learn that people randomly running in the street are rarely doing anything good.
I hope you've applied for Criminal Injury Compensation?
It can take a fair while to come through but it's some consolation when it does.

Thanks for letting me know...do you think i can still aply for that? And do you know where can I do it?

Tell that to my mate who got kicked to shreds in Berlin by some skinhead nazis "just for fun". Or to DJ guy I know, Dave Congreve, who got his leg kicked so he nevers walks normal again in Barcelona, probably because he's english, but mugged he wasn't.

Random acts of violence are sadly a reality in human nature. And apart from random gut feeling nothing prepares for it :(

  • I live in a road by the station before things get rough :)

I moved to road by the station too, opposite the common, before the chicken cottage borderline, much better area.

  • Thanks a lot everyone for the msg!!!

    again.. this shit writes itself...

    this may help

  • Random acts of violence are sadly a reality in human nature. And apart from random gut feeling nothing prepares for it :(

The worst ones are the premeditated ones, an old mates brother would sit in a pub with us and look for someone to have a fight with and casually say "I'll have him later" and pick his victim, scary bloke. I usually left after two pints. He lived in Wales that's my excuse anyway.

  • I think violence like that sucks ...
If someone's that desperate to have a fight, why not train and get it out in a ring or something, with like minded people that hit you back?

Never understood that kind of shit.

Rudy, I guess the best thing is to get all police stuff ready, crime ref number etc, and then apply for the 'tariff' thing on that website. At least you might get something out of it.

  • That is absolutely fucked.

I got worked up just reading it!

Best wishes for a speedy recovery, and if I ever see someone in Tooting punching a cyclist, I will make sure I cycle on his face.

  • Shit. Nasty Rudy.

    Heal up quick.

what's on earth are you rambling about?? mate you sound like you never set foot outside the house let alone your local town.

  • +1^

  • The CICA rules have changed since I received my award.
However I think the OP does meet the minimum requirements for the minimum award of £1,000.
Can't find mention of an aneurysm (don't understand the terminology on the form) - but it should be worth $$$$/$$$$$

  • Thanks again guys.

@VeeVee - Cool, I still live here, but in a better looking area, where about do you live? I was hit at the beginning of Coteford Street.....I was on Upper Tooting Road, turned left on Lessingham Ave, thats when i saw him running down and didnt think he was running towards me.

I was asking were you were as I saw a terrible update of the arson attack on Lessingham Avenue. It happened on 21 June. Stupid 14 year old set fire to a house where lived a mother and her four children.

A few little scars on his chin + one on his cheek, not too bad, had to have an operation on his cheek bone.
