Jag drivers are fine. At least they're buying local. BMW drivers on the other hand, I guess they just drive like that because they are pissed off at how shit their car is compared to a Jaguar.

I have had two cunts in Range Rovers beep their horns at me for having the temerity to be in their way. The first time I just accelerated away from him up Wigmore St shouting, "come on then, keep up!" You can do that over a very short distance quite easily and it doesn't half annoy them.

I had to have words with an Alfa driver who beeped at someone today. I was polite and forceful and he was meek and obedient. I think he thought I was a copper.

Have you ever owned a Jag? You usually invite the guy from the spares department to your wedding as you know him so well and 14mpg is not good in London lol

Never owned a Jag - don't drive, so I can enjoy them in pictures without the pitfalls of ownership.

Mind you modern jags consistently score highest in the JD Power surveys. I'd expect the new ones to be totally reliable. And 14mpg is a memory in these days of advanced lightweight aluminium bodyshells.

Taxi drivers drive more than your average drivers in London, we see them everyday, it's impossible for a day to go by without seeing a black cab, so when we see a couple get aggressive toward cyclists, we assumed they're cunts in general.

but frankly, there's always going to be a bad drivers in a motorised vehicle, put him in a taxi and we'll go "oh yes, that make sense, he's a taxi drivers that why he's a bad driver".

I had a black cab driver almost take me out, on exactly the same point this happened to your friend, at about 6.30 tonight. It was wet as hell, he then shouted something at me through his closed passenger window, I got nothing so signalled that he was a wanker, he then intentionally slammed his brakes on with me right behind him so I almost rode into him, skidding in the wet, i then raced after him, pulled up next to his open drivers side window and told him he was a fucking cunt.

My first ride fixed in London a black cab driver said something out his window.. I didn't hear but approached and said "what?". "Is that a fixed wheel mate?" "Err yeah" stumbling since I expected to be calling him a cunt already. "What gear is it?" "Is it hard riding around London?"

Unfortunately being part of a hit and run, there is little the police can do without witnesses and a license plate. I hit a white transit van that decided it could "get round the bend before I got there", and of course a white transit van being driven by a bloke like a builder is hardly a solid and unique description ... I assume the same is true about a black cab driven in London.

anyway, hit and run, damaged handlebar and stem, scraped arm from rubbing against the rear tyre almost dragging me down, witnesses with telephone number, photos of numberplate, CCTV bleaming down where the sun don't shine, driver possibly don't have insurance, and this is what I earned;

Report it netherless, even if you think they won't do a thing.

Some guy in a Range Rover was beeping at me on Brick2Brix at the A3/A23 junction. He obviously felt that I should be riding much closer to the parked cars so that he could get past me. I in no uncertain terms let him know I wasn't going to be moving out of his way.
