Why does everyone seem to be obsessed with the Brevet jersey - it's just a long sleeved jersey with a gillet? You can buy those items separately right?
The gillets are different. The one bundled with the brevet has a lot of black netting and trim. It doesn't look as nice as the stand alone one IMO. I prefer the original short sleeve version.

I was rejected from the Industry Purchase Program. My organisation - a local authority - is not part of the 'bicycle industry', they say. And yet I help train almost 2,000 people to ride a bike every year.
Go figure...

mechanical_vandal works at the Glasgow Velodrome. I was going to suggest he tries for an account but reading your post makes me think he'd be knocked back for the same reason.
Also not sure if he's a Rapha fan.

That doesn't sound right. I'd guess someone doing the same job for an independent organisation would have 'passed'.

^
Because an independent organisation would have to pay for their own staff by generating income rather than being paid for by the tax payer? -
• #9884
I also generate my own income to pay staff and create a broader cycling programme. Our activities are not paid for by the tax payer alone!
Ah well...
Rapha have now added some terms and conditions to the scheme.

My new city rain jacket, merino pants and winter socks were just delivered to my gf's office (I'm out of the 'london' catchment for bike delivery and i wanted it nownownow, they probably suffer enough whilst cycling without having to come to croydon).

You should, I cherish mine every day.
Came back from the halloween party at 3:30 am last night. It was ZERO degrees outthere and I didn't feel A THING on my torso and neck : I was neither cold or hot, just perfect.
Couldn't say the same for my (bare) hands.Best purchase of the year so far.

buff(r) actually do a hood/buff combo that would work if you got a similar colour perhaps.
