Yeah I think I'll go for that one, anyone know to what extent it is waterproof, will I get soaked if a quick shower occurs?
mines taken a proper prolonged soaking and kept me dry. Like the softshell I keep washing to a bare minimum and when I do I wash them with it's with Nikwax softshell proof which reproofs the water repellent qualities a treat.

The rain jacket no?
Also, I'll ask this here cus its kinda clothes-y but if your not using cleats and cycling shoes, but have cages and straps, what is the most common thing to ride in, I've been using trainers but they're fucking annoying, really wide and shiz
Not even the rain jacket.
I ride in trainers all the time, usually on Look road pedals, the obvious answer is to get MTB shoes though and go clipless.

Yeah I've heard of this stuff sounds good, someone at Rapha told me they where bring their own version out in a few months, which should be great...expensive great.
I think I'll go for the Pro then, the classic soft-shell will be to warm of everyday use, and the rain jacket has to specific a job to be of significant use, cheers for the advice.
I think trainers will have to do, might try get some slimmer ones, my asics really are chunky

Even the white shoes?

Everything from Rapha is fantastic.
No it is not.
Some stuff is fantastic.
Some stuff is good.
Some stuff is gash.
Some stuff is cringe worthy.

Even the white shoes?
Haha if i had the money, I would go for black though, less of a statement, and wouldn't want them to get grubby, I get all upset when my GT gloves go a bit grey

What are the Long Sleeve Jerseys like?*
Are they heavier fabric than the Club Jersey?
*Long Sleeve, rather than Winter I mean.

-
• #8294
Agree - it looks OK. But is still twice the price that it should be.
-
• #8295
exactly, i wonder what could have driven the price so high, i know with most things there are good reasons, maybe they thought they could get away with it, it being rapha

The City Wind Jacket is a very technical product

It is fucking hideous.
Haha true but it still is desirable!
Still desirable if you have some kind of odd fetish that requires you to dress like a dick, or you want to look like this:
Why? They will get things wrong, is it not better to call them out on it when this happens and hopefully stop it happening again in the future?
is still twice the price that it should be.
Agreed.

Kerr-ching!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The City Wind Jacket is a very technical product
Am surprised that you are defending it. If something looks shit you are usually very good at pointing and laughing!

Yeah, but that's about the same as the Assos equivalent.
They're still both pac-a-macs though.

What is awful?
pro team gloves (now discontinued - for good reason)
merino boxers with the pad
Not overly impressed with the touring shorts either
