So you're standing by a product that can't be washed?
[IMG]http://t2.gstatic.com/images?I washed it a dozen time in a year and a half of owning the jacket, it's perfect for general riding, but not so much for caning it when you run hot.

Mrs. Brave went to work today in no less than 5 items of Rapha today.
I so proud (and jelly)

I had similar on my base layer (bought at sample sale so am not that bothered as I got 2 yrs out of it first) but mine were tears when pressure was applied - i.e. lifting it off over my head. I read that washing merino with conditioner screws it so this may be why mine started going. I've stopped doing that now.

the baselayer ripped when i was pulling it off my arm when it was fairly new.
about 10 washes for the shirts. but the blue one started to go before that.
the shirts were also never uses for cycling.
Never had any other shirts fail in this way and so consistently. -

They've always been very helpful with me and I'm sure that they'd be interested to hear what you have to say as much as I'd like to hear their response.

only purple PS merino shorts can take the power of the hulk

Maybe only Rapha makes you angry enough for The Change though?
Rapha Menopaulsmith? for the over 40s female rider.

+1 on emailing them. Customer Services are very good. They might well refund / replace as they care about their image / service.
Back to the Rapha Classic Softshell Vs. Swrve Milwaukee.
Which is the most waterproof?
And does anyone want to swap a Swrve for a softshell? :) -

I notice in the jobs section the they are looking for a London Cycle Club manager, as they're opening a permanent shop in London http://www.rapha.cc/work-at-rapha#job10 . I hope this doesn't mean the end of sample sales!
Anyone feel they "will be able to marry a café, clothing retail and a brand experience to articulate what Rapha means in a physical space" ?!

They did it quiet well a couple of years back with the pop up in Farringdon.

It won't mean the end of sample sales, but they will be genuine sample sales as opposed to what they've had inthe past. The sale stock will get lumped into seasonal sales like the rest of retail. Boxing day this year will be chaos. Exchanges and reduced stock type chaos.

it's off the Rapha site..

Easy Princess ^
I'm not sure if it's a good thing or not that they're opening a shop just as I'm (hopefully) quitting my job to go travelling.
Timing. Meh. -

It sounds like the kind of guff DJ comes up with.

You can just feel free to slam a drawer shut on your genitals.
I'm just articulating to Brave how he can share the experience in a physical space the articulation of my feelings for the Rapha copy.
when does the pain stop?

Anyone feel they "will be able to set up something like lmnh, but without the nodders, tatty cheap bikes and fixie skidders, selling extorionate coffee and cake alongside clothes in a black and white windswept environment, just like all our press shots"
It sounds like the kind of guff DJ comes up with.
ftfy, but probably needs added swearing
