i was buying their stuff from blacks last year, they had a buy 1 get 1 half price promo running almost every month for a few days last winter so i guess it's worth checking there once in a while -

The Rapha merino bundle makes very good sense in all seriousness. £110 for 3 long sleevers is good.

Cheers. Might go for the endura baabaa.

it looks like a good deal but i had impression that they will fall apart after first wash when i saw them, and they're quite see thru
anyone tried them? -
• #6312

anyone tried them?I have had three short sleeves (bought in the bundle) for the last three years. One has a small hole in the back, probably from a clothes peg or something, but apart from that they are great condition. Between September & March, the get rotated 5 or 6 days a week.
IMO they are the best product that Rapha offer (maybe with the exception of the bibs)

Agreed, I'm going with this

The other half has one who's Australian and whinges about the cold in summer. Has to be good.
Thin merino needs to be washed in a laundry bag else the machine pulls them apart. Discovered this with my swrve one.

The cream one is quite sheer but the black and (dare I say it) pink are both opaque. They have no falling apart issues I've found.

Sheer. Opaque.
What next, discussion of denier? -

anyone tried them?I've used a set over the last three of months. They get washed (handwash setting on the machine) once a week and dry hanging.
There was a tiny amount of loosening initially but that is all.

But very expensive compared to £20 each for icebreaker longsleeves on sale at Field and Trek online

Anyone else find their caps a really poor fit? I've tried 2 different styles and they're both really shallow [insert obvious joke].
In other news I had to buy a Castelli gilet because I have too much Rapha and feel like a tit.Very hit miss on the fits their best one is the one with the van on it. I think the Outlier is the best fitting cycle cap I have. That or look at Guy's 3M flat caps (dashing tweed).
