  • Ah shit I've done it. Couldn't be arsed to queue last week and I've heard no chat about trousers so it makes sense????? No of course it doesn't.

  • Now I have to explain it to the wife!

  • EEI, so what did you buy ?!

  • Paul Smith pink fucking hoodie.
I've decided it will suit more my riding style than any of the jerseys.

  • I love mine. Shameful but true. There is something to be said for looking a right dickhead while riding your bike.

  • ^ Lolz.

Just bought a new pair of Touring Shorts. Only black left in my size, but really wanted grey as they draw more attention to my junk.

  • ^ I got the grey. They certainly are a bit...pouchy.

  • Give me a heads-up if you're selling.

  • Not likely - super comfy despite junk issues. Have you tried them on? I seem to recall your thighs being bigger than mine* and you may find them a bit snug around that area.

*Oh yes, I remember your thighs.

  • weirdly my legs have changed shape this year, so the touring shorts that were so comfortable for the past two years now feel very tight around my right thigh.

i am guessing this is due to that let overcompensating for the injuries it sustained lower down

the paul smith hoodie is lovely, thankfully i had the blue already and missmouse vetoed the pink one, i was very tempted but would truly fit either slang reference for raspberry ripple wearing it.

  • sure you don't want to swap the blue for the pink?

  • no, prefer the blue one

  • so do I :(

  • but one in the pink and all that...

  • Pink is the way to do it. Pink or nothing.

  • Real men wear pink #fact

Is this a Rapha butt plug?

  • Is this a Rapha butt plug?

what a fine multi tool that would be!

  • Just don't ask for a coffee when Prancer is using it to multi-task

  • Anyone want to swap brand new pro team mitts in white, size large for mediums?

  • Anyone here have the Classic Jersey? I was wondering whether the sleeves have a button or something sown inside to hook the arm warmers to. The blurb mentions that the jersey is specifically designed to work with their armwarmers, but I don't know if that just means visually.

I have the arm warmers (along Torm, Pearl Izumi, Northwave, no-name brands) and am yet to find some that will stay up with my skinny arms and the loop on the Rapha ones seemed like a genius idea if there were buttons in sleeves...I may have to get out the needle and thread.

  • i bought two but haven't figured that out yet
yes, pink loops on mine would suggest that there should be some attaching hook inside jersey but couldn't find any...

  • I thought the pink loops were just for ease of taking them off.

  • It's just marketing horseshit.

  • The jersey sleeves have magnetic threads as do the arm warmers.Nice subtle interface.
Try it.Older washing machines can reverse the polarity apparently, especially after a certain number of washes at 40 degrees. If yours aren't working, pester Mottram to double stitch in future or have them upgraded via the crash repair policy.
Or you could always sew in a bit of velcro to avoid the unsightly gap.
Belt and braces approach,if you will.
Talking of braces,a pink pair of sock suspenders could easily be configured too, I'm sure.
