  • What a wonderfully accessible brand they are.

  • that's not a lot more than you'd pay for other tailored jackets.

  • Well that's okay then. I expect they'll do a £150 emergency (tailored) patch repair kit for it to.

  • It's not tailored at all though is it? It comes in standard sizes FFS.

It looks really nice though and I don't see anyone else exploring this market.

  • um but why would anyone want to ride in a tailored jacket

    • unless your name is coppithat *

Totally.. also you can climb Ventoux in a massively epic manner wearing this. Take that Manning and Manning!

I would if I had a shortish commute and wanted to look sharp for work. Why not?

  • uuhh...ohhh..nnoooo! I like that jacket but I dont want to..

  • according to the Rapha blurb:

'is made from a technical fabric that is 100% wool'

    What's that then, wool?

  • Well that's okay then. I expect they'll do a £150 emergency (tailored) patch repair kit for it to.

You can't put a price on being able to go at 17mph (avg).

  • If you buy this you're an absolute bibble.

  • it has pink so ..no :-)

  • bibble being a good thing or a bad thing ?

correct, abuse of the word tailored? other than specific sizes are made by a tailor...5 sizes is not what I would call tailored.

obviously. then head home to Rapha cafe, where

just a dash of Rapha pink

    will impress the boys.

  • bibble being a good thing or a bad thing ?

On a scale of one to melt, it's a jeb-end.

  • good i was hoping you weren't being nice about rapha

  • woven in britain means the rest is glued together somewhere in india or china like
most of the non bespoke saville row stuff?

  • Baffled by the sizing - bikes that come in S, M, L, XL aren't custom, this ain't tailored. Is lovely though. If I had £400 to throw away with no worries I'd have one. But I don't.

  • Rapha iphone app coming this week:
    http://road.cc/content/news/18935-rapha-iphone-app-hit-apples-app-store-week

Apparently it allows users to use social networking to 'hook up' for rides together.........sounds like that grinder app but only for people who wear stylish *and *functional bike clothing while they are 'doing their thing'

  • Fucking Rapha. Just sayin'.

  • ^ Deserves some free garment to try out and perhaps change the outlook? Just saying...

  • Apparently it allows users to use social networking to 'hook up' for rides together...

My iPhone does it already. I call Ian and say one word: "beers".

  • I've got a free Rapha garment - fixed shorts, won on the rollers. They're okay. Not worth more than £50 though. >£100 is a fucking disgrace.

  • I wish TK Maxx stored the last season Rapha.
