That price. Margins.

My Gabba was made in Romania

Mine is Dutch.

Sorry. My fault for the derail.
I can't really be arsed to argue the point. I don't wear black tops. I don't see the point.
The mint green long-sleeved training jersey is tempting me at the moment.

Just signed up for the waiting list, seems interesting as I run an online-only journal which is actually going to be printed for the next year (crazy).

Er, commuters?

Just tried on and bought an aerosuit for £115. It felt really comfortable, and was able to sit on a bike to see what it was like in an aero position.
The little rest stop flap is a bit weird, but practical nonetheless. I tried on lots of other things but nonething really fitted apart from the climbers jersey. Will the pocket take a decent layer for say, an alpine summit/descent?

I think it should be very interesting for writers and designers alike, those mondial publications are so beautifully constructed.
Do you have a link to your journal? Its always nice to have a peek at what people are doing. -

are the brevet gilets up to much? i've a gabba/fawesome one already so don't want to double dunt. Leaning more towards a pair of gloves but pt softshell or winter?

They're good. I often wear my pink Brevet jersey with a fluoro yellow Gabba resulting in a garish technicolour fruit salad.

I got issue 2 the other day. It's definitely got it's own distinct gravity and I liked most of it I guess but the paintings of suffering bit came across as pretty twee-a bridge too far perhaps or maybe the more cultured mamils out there really think of Van Gogh donating his severed ear to a cheap hooker with a misty look in their eyes whilst they're out riding. Anyway, one of the best cycling mags I ever read was a one-off French one by the people that do So Foot, really captured a that distinctly French essence of irreverence and cynicism that cycling needs to compliment the romantic, grainy black and whiteness of it all-if they'd kept printing it I would have definitely subscribed. The Rapha event looks really interesting tho...

y u wear gilet with gabba?
-
• #24266
I had one, didn't like it much though, I prefer the standard Rapha gilet or the pt rain gilet (both of which I own), these are more structured than the brevet one.
-
• #24267
This is the only good gilet. By far.
Even the PBP marshals stopped me with the yellow brevet in France during the day.

• #24268
£85 beans though! Ooft.
-
• #24269
Is 'structured' a more coded way of saying 'substantial'? Brevet looks like it's pretty flimsy in the pics, pt rain looks like it's got the hardshell coating?

• #24270
It does the job very well.

Went to the Rapha shop on Sunday as my first ride in three month. I am at a loss with all their technical stuff. Where went layering? You need a car driving beyond you with all the kit for longer rides in changing conditions.

And then there is no rain shell on par to replace my old adidas which is actually pretty breathable.

Bought the merino beanie. As expected, it's a lovely hat, but I'm a bit of a sad panda because although 'Chili' on the site appears to be a proper solid red, in reality it's a sort of wishy-washy faded orangey rusty salmon colour.

Layering, why not? They're good, but they're not literally the only thing you need to wear.
Made in Italy. So is it a Gabba really?
