Rapha, nice but a bit pricey?

Just because you can fit in it, doesn't make it the right size.

The Sky kits are sized up a little aren't they? You know, so all the MAMILs think they're a size or two smaller than they actually are. Right?

Returns are allowed on Rapha eBay so you can try it on and return it if you look a twat, that is what I am doing.

I'm of the opinion that if you can do up the zip and feel mildly uncomfortable standing up. It'll be Perfect on the bike.

My brevet jersey is mad tight (M, and I'm a large PT). The first thing I do when off the bike is unzip it all the way. But on the bike its most comfortable piece of kit I own. Fits like a second skin, so I get all the benefits of the wool for Nordic spring riding, and the packed Pockets are very stable.

Yes, but it's tighter than I'd like.

This is also a common issue, according to the staff at the Raphe- you have to choose whether you size for waist, or shoulders and neck.

If I wear a large then anything in a pocket causes the jersey to rotate, leaving the heavy pocket as a sort of marsupial pouch.

Medium does this only with heavy items - a pocket full of energy bars plus multitool etc.

Now that Rapha have stopped doing the City riding trousers where else can you get hard-wearing trousers that look fine for the office?

The fit on the Italy jersey appears a bit messy and loose ... not very pro.
