Since when did Rapha start using royal mail to post in EU? Last time I ordered it was DHL express (so basically next day delivery from the time it is dispatched) now they post my order with royal mail which means at least 3-4 working days.

If you're paying all that dosh for the clothes (and in some cases, the delivery too), you'd at least expect a decent delivery time.

Is 3-5 days for an international delivery not an acceptable period of time? Seems ok to me. You can always pay to have it sooner, that's what everyone else does.

I've been shopping from EU retailers recently (strong pound to Euro) and they have very similar (if not worse) timings to UK addresses.

Takes that long to get stuff within the country here. Providing sales tax is pre paid. Rapha are as quick as any other online option for me.

I ordered some defeet gloves locally, and it took them a week to dispatch. Im guessing delivery will be 5 more days.

Rapha are seriously missing a trick here, I won't buy their stuff until this is rectified.

It's just that Rapha until now would ship with dhl express, even with standard delivery, so the moment it was dispatched you would get it the next day. With royal mail is a whole another story since it goes to the local post office and from there it depends on the mailman. Most of the times the mailman here is slow so I pick the stuff myself. I guess I either got spoiled with Rapha or I expected that this premium service would stick for the price I pay. So from next day delivery now I'm looking at 5 working days.

I'm interested in getting a race cape. How does the sizing compare to the PTJ? In that I am XL for snug and performant, XXL for casual pub wear.

Yep this year's ptj. Xl is snug as a bug. Not good for body image neurosis!

Reckon I'll be a large or x large in race cape.
