  • I generally avoid Rapha although I do like their cycle shorts. Smart and you can wear them casually.

  • you wear bibshorts casually?

  • Touring shorts perhaps?

  • boxer shorts?

  • Bit skimpy?

  • This often happens, there seem to be two waves of stock, and it then means that people snap up things when the second batch arrives.

It is. The industry has been doing it for years.

  • New Rapha stuff use to sell out in a few days, now its the same day.

  • Tried my gabba for the first time today. Its now my best piece of kit. Fit slightly funny but overall amazing. Ride home in just the gabba no baselayer and was fine. No wind gets through. Would imagine rain wouldnt get through either.

  • I am loving my Gabba, never had a kit so versatile as this.

It's nice not to wear a couple of layer/gillet to keep the wind chill.

  • really recommend the capo lombardia for a cheaper alternative to the gabba

    There's a secondhand section?

    Lightly soiled skimpy shorts?

  • Is the fit of the lightweight jersey and bibs like the classics range?

I want a similar tight fit to my xl pro team jersey, and medium bibs. Should I look at small bibs and large top?

  • Fit is the same

  • Fit is the same

Same as PT or same as classic? or is it all the same really. Dont believe the hype etc.

    It's called ebay!

I would definitely went for that, but none of our distributor that we have an B2B account with stock them.

I have a v1 Lightweight Jersey and it is a slightly smaller fit than the Classic Jersey, but the design of the Lightweight has changed since then - I think they're not even using the same material as the first ones.

I don't own any PT stuff but I'd wager it's not as snug as that. Maybe somewhere in between Classic and PT.

  • Anyone got or tried the Randonee shorts? (Currently out of stock in my size = FAIL)

  • I'd love to get one, but a bit insane compare to a Uniqlo short.

    Cheers.

    Tricky then.
My XL PT jersey is about Perfect. But I wouldnt want any looser in a lightweight, as it wouldnt be layered so much.
My L tribute jersey is as tight as I can og without splitting something I reckon.

    Probably just stick to XL/M.

  • This is well worth a read, a well balanced and poignant piece on Pantani by Tom Southam;

    I'd recommend. Size up though.

  • Ah, tailored fit?

  • Quite tailored, but have a bit of (horizontal) stretch to them. I'm usually 32/33 waist and bought 32. Fit is fine, but there is no stretch in the waist.
